Airbnb is launching a tool that allows hosts to check guests’ COVID-19 status and symptoms

A new tool will help Airbnb hosts ensure that guests are healthy prior to check-in

Called “Security Statement health “, the tool will allow hosts to request certification from guests who claim they have no symptoms of COVID-19 and to the best of their knowledge have not been exposed to the virus.

Airbnb also has a policy that guests should not register for a listing if they are infected, show symptoms, or have been exposed to COVID-19. If a guest is ill with COVID-19 prior to check-in, they can cancel for a full refund.
