Twitch has deactivated President Donald Trump’s account indefinitely after he launched an attack by a pro-Trump on Wednesday Promoted mobs to the US Capitol.

“In view of yesterday’s shocking attack on the US Capitol, we have disabled President Trump’s Twitch channel,” a Twitch spokesman said in a statement. “Given the current exceptional circumstances and the president’s incendiary rhetoric, we believe this is a necessary step to protect ours.” Community and prevent Twitch from being used to incite further violence. “The company says it will re-evaluate Trump’s account after he leaves the office.

Earlier Thursday, Facebook suspended Trump’s account indefinitely, stating that the ban would not be lifted until the day of the inauguration. Twitter suspended Trump’s account Wednesday night, saying that further violations of his policies would result in his account being “permanently suspended”.
