White House turns to Silicon Valley for help with COVID vaccine launch

The Biden administration is in talks with Amazon and several other Silicon giants Valley to help roll out COVID-19 vaccines across the country. Spokesman Kevin Muñoz told Politico that officials are “consulting with many companies, including Amazon,” to help distribute medical supplies.

Muñoz added that companies with “technical and logistics experience” could be used to help “Americans get vaccinated more efficiently and more fairly.”

In his January 20th letter to the White House, Clark reiterated his wish to see Amazon employees vaccinated “as soon as possible.” He added that Amazon was ready to deliver vaccines at its facilities and “ready to act quickly as soon as vaccines become available”.
